L'anno accademico 2024-25 in numeri

Importante crescita della popolazione studentesca: tra Bachelor, Master, PhD e formazione continua, sono 4’536 le studentesse e gli studenti iscritti all'USI. Nella formazione di base, l'incremento rispetto allo scorso anno è stato del +10%. Si conferma inoltre l’impegno dell’USI nella ricerca.

Scelto il progetto per il nuovo edificio di ricerca IOR

Il Consiglio di Fondazione della Fondazione per lo IOR ha scelto il progetto del consorzio ISB+ per il nuovo edificio di ricerca a Bellinzona. Esso include 12 laboratori e un auditorio da 250 posti, e mira a espandere spazi e attività di IOR e IRB, creando un campus di ricerca e formazione.

Significant growth in the student population: between Bachelor's, Master's, PhD and continuing education, there are 4,536 students enrolled at USI. In basic training, the increase over last year was +10%. USI's commitment to research is also confirmed.

Winning project chosen for new IOR research building

The Board of Trustees of the Foundation for IOR has selected the project by ISB+ consortium for a new research building in Bellinzona. It will feature 12 laboratories and a 250-seat auditorium and aims to expand the space and activities of IOR IRB, creating a research and training campus.

PD Dr. Fadda is a lecturer at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, where she teaches Ethics in Biomedicine, and sits on various committees dealing with clinical and research ethics. The USI Ethics Committee deals with the application of ethical principles in scientific research activities.
