L'associazione Bellinzona Institutes of Science (Bios+) costituita dall'Istituto di Ricerca in Biomedicina (IRB) e dall'Istituto Oncologico di Ricerca (IOR), affiliati all'USI, ha ratificato la nomina del Prof. Franco Cavalli quale presidente per il prossimo biennio.

Il 17º Congresso Linfomi di Lugano

Dal 13 al 17 giugno 2023 Lugano accoglierà i circa 4mila partecipanti alla 17º Conferenza Internazionale sui Linfomi Maligni, evento nato nel 1981 su iniziativa del professor Franco Cavalli. L'Università della Svizzera italiana ospiterà alcune delle attività del congresso.

Giornata nazionale dell'animale da laboratorio

Il 10 giugno 2023 si terrà la prima "Giornata nazionale dell'animale da laboratorio", un'occasione per ricordare l'importanza degli animali da laboratorio nella ricerca biomedica. Molti esperimenti sugli animali infatti non possono ancora essere sostituiti con metodi alternativi.

The association known as Bellinzona Institutes of Science (Bios+), which includes the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) and the Institute of Oncology Research (IOR) affiliated with USI, has officially approved the appointment of Prof. Franco Cavalli as its president for the next two years.

The 17th conference on Lymphoma in Lugano

Lugano will welcome the approximately 4,000 participants of the 17th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma from 13 to 17 June 2023. The event was founded in 1981 on the initiative of Professor Franco Cavalli. Università della Svizzera italiana will host some of the conference activities.

The first 'National Day for Laboratory Animals' will be held on 10 June 2023, an opportunity to remember the importance of laboratory animals in biomedical research. Many animal experiments cannot yet be replaced by alternative methods.
