In un approfondimento su laRegione il Prof. Petr Cejka ha chiarito il meccanismo molecolare alla base della malattia di Huntington, ricostruito in vitro in uno studio dell'IRB che apre alla possibilità di sviluppare strategie preventive mirate a bloccare la malattia prima della comparsa dei sintomi.

Venerdì 24 aprile il Campus Est ospiterà una Alumni Reunion dedicata ai primi laureati dell’USI, in occasione del trentesimo anniversario dell’ateneo. I primi laureati e professori di ieri e oggi delle tre Facoltà originarie torneranno all’USI per condividere questo importante traguardo.

Il simposio guidato dal dr. Will Davis e promosso dall’USI, che si terrà tra il 25 e il 27 marzo, esplora il sistema delle piantagioni tra storia, ambiente e architettura. Il secondo capitolo approfondisce le trasformazioni ecologiche e sociali legate alla monocoltura, offrendo nuove prospettive.

Il 27 marzo, il 24 aprile e il 15 maggio l'ISI terrà dei workshop sulle Digital Humanities dedicati alle narrazioni tra parola e immagine, dal Rinascimento alla cultura digitale. Gli incontri combineranno teoria e pratica, al fine di sviluppare competenze nel settore.

Martedì 24 marzo all’USI sarà proiettato il film “La prodigiosa trasformazione della classe operaia in stranieri” nell’ambito della Settimana contro il razzismo. L’evento, parte del progetto “Oltre lo sguardo”, sarà seguito da un dibattito sul razzismo nel mondo del lavoro.

Con l’arrivo del bel tempo spostarsi in bicicletta è un piacere. L’USI vi ricorda che offre tariffe agevolate per gli abbonamenti al servizio di bike sharing sull'ampia rete nazionale di Publibike a tutti i suoi membri (studenti, docenti, assistenti, ricercatori e collaboratori).

Nell'ambito del Master in Corporate Communication alcuni studenti hanno creato con strumenti IA un video per introdurre un caso di studio. L’esperimento evidenzia il potenziale creativo dell’IA nell’insegnamento e la necessità di un uso critico e consapevole.
