Times Higher Education ha stilato il ranking annuale per quanto concerne le università di piccole dimensioni. La classifica per il 2024 vede l'Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) nuovamente tra i primi dieci atenei al mondo, grazie al nono posto attribuito dall'istituzione britannica.
